Ceramic fiber is produced from high purity aluminosilicate material through a strictly controlled high-temperature furnace melting and fiberizing process. Ceramic fiber products are white and odorless, which is suitable for high-temperature applications up to 2300°F. Due to the resistance to high temperatures, good thermal stability, and significant energy-saving effects, ceramic fibers are gradually replacing traditional refractory brick refractories. Comparing to the ceramic blankets, it has higher strength and vacuum forming felt.
- Faster temperature cycling
- Lower heat storage
- Lower fuel costs
- Increased productivity
- Lower installation cost
- Easier repairs
- Resistance to thermal shock

Q1: What is a Ceramic Fiber Board?
Answer: A Ceramic Fiber Board is a rigid, lightweight, and high-temperature insulating material made from ceramic fibers. It is designed for applications requiring high thermal insulation, structural integrity, and resistance to thermal shock.
Q2: What are the common applications of Ceramic Fiber Boards?
Answer: Common applications include use in furnaces, kilns, and other high-temperature industrial equipment as insulation linings, fire protection in buildings, thermal barriers in aerospace, and in high-temperature gaskets and seals.
Q3: How are Ceramic Fiber Boards manufactured?
Answer: Ceramic Fiber Boards are typically manufactured by combining ceramic fibers with binders and additives, forming them into a sheet or board shape, and then curing them at high temperatures to achieve the desired mechanical strength and rigidity.
